Instructions: Listen to the audio about MOUNTAIN MAN. Then, read along as you hear it second time. After you have read and listened to the audio, try to complete the activities as instructed. Try to answer in complete sentences.

दशरथ मांझी गाँव में रहते थे।
गाँव का नाम गहलोर था।
गाँव के चारों ओर पहाड़ थे।
गाँव से शहर 70 किलोमीटर दूर था।
गाँव के लोग नौकरी करने शहर जाते थे।
दशरथ भी खेती करने पहाड़ के दूसरी तरफ जाते थे।
दशरथ की पत्नी खाना देने जाती थीं।
एक दिन पहाड़ पर पत्नी गिर गयीं।
दशरथ ने हथोड़ा और छेनी खरीदी।
दशरथ ने पहाड़ तोड़ा।
दशरथ ने 22 साल में रास्ता बनाया।
गाँव और शहर का रास्ता 7 किलोमीटर हो गया।

Student 2): मेरे गाँव गहलोर से सबसे पास शहर वज़ीरगंज है।
Student 1): गाँव और शहर के बीच का रास्ता कितना है?
Student 2): गाँव और शहर के बीच का रास्ता 70 किलोमीटर है।
Student 1): गाँव और शहर के बीच में क्या है?
Student 2): गाँव और शहर के बीच में पहाड़ हैं।
Student 1): आप शहर में क्या करने जाते हैं?
Student 2): मैं पहाड़ की दूसरी तरफ जंगल से लकड़ी काटने और नौकरी करने जाता हूँ।
Student 1): आपको खाना और पानी देने कौन आता है?
Student 2): मुझे खाना और पानी देने मेरी पत्नी आती हैं।
Student 1): आपकी पत्नी का नाम क्या है?
Student 2): मेरी पत्नी का नाम फाल्गुनी देवी है।
Student 1): आपकी पत्नी को क्या हो गया?
Student 2): मेरी पत्नी पहाड़ पर गिर गई।
Student 1): आपकी पत्नी कैसे गिर गई?
Student 2): मेरी पत्नी पहाड़ पर ठोकर लगने से गिर गई और मर गई।
Student 1): आपने क्या किया?
Student 2): मैंने पहाड़ तोड़ने के लिये हथोड़ा और छेनी खरीदी।
Student 1): आपने पहाड़ अकेले तोड़ा?
Student 2): हाँ, मैंने पहाड़ अकेले तोड़ा।
Student 1): आपको पहाड़ तोड़ने में कितने साल लग गए?
Student 2): मुझे पहाड़ तोड़ने में 22 साल लग गए।
Student 1): अब आपके गाँव और शहर के बीच का रास्ता कितना है?
Student 2): अब गाँव और शहर के बीच का रास्ता सिर्फ 7 किलोमीटर है।
