Topic 1: Visit India: Preparations
Instructions: An audio and some sentences are provided here. Their purpose is to assess your proficiency and level of understanding. It is about preparations that are made for a visit to India. Listen to the audio carefully. Play it second time, and underline the key words given to you. Af- terwards, try to complete the activities that are provided. Use a web dictionary such as shabd- kosh.com to find out the meanings of new words. Two students should practice. Student 1 is Vishal, and student 2 is Siya. Student 1 - आप कहाँ रहती हैं ?
Student 2 - मैं एडिसन, न्यू जर्सी में रहती हूँ। आप कहाँ रहती हैं ?
Student 1 - मैं फ़्रैंक्लिन, न्यू जर्सी में रहती हूँ।
Student 1- आप का जन्मदिन कब है ?
Student 2- मेरा जन्मदिन 4 अप्रैल को है। आप का जन्मदिन कब है ?
Student 1- मेरा जन्मदिन 14 जून को है ।
Student 1- आप कौन सी कक्षा में पढ़ती हैं ?
Student 2- मैं चौथी कक्षा में पढ़ती हूँ । आप कौन सी कक्षा में पढ़ती हैं ?
Student 1- मैं पांचवी कक्षा में पढ़ती हूँ ।
Student 1- आपके परिवार में कौन-कौन हैं ?
Student 2- मेरे परिवार में मेरी माता, मेरे पिता, छोटा भाई है । आपके परिवार में कौन-कौन हैं ?
Student 1- मेरे परिवार में मेरी माता, मेरे पिता, मेरी बड़ी बहन और मेरे दादा जी- दादी जी हैं ।
Student 2हाँ, मैं भारत गयी हूँ ।आप भारत में कहाँ गयी थीं?
Student 1- मैं मुंबई गयी थी। मैं अपने माता पिता के साथ गयी। आप किसके साथ और कहाँ गए ?
Student 2-मैं भी अपने माता पिता के साथ भारत गयी। हम दिल्ली गए थे । वहाँ मेरे दादा जी -दादी जी का घर है।
Student 1-आपसे मिलकर बहुत अच्छा लगा।
Student 2-मुझे भी आपसे मिलकर बहुत अच्छा लगा। धन्यवाद! फिर मिलेंगे।
Student 1-अच्छा, नमस्ते। फिर मिलेंगे।
