गैंडा बहुत बड़ा जानवर है। यह हाथी के बाद दूसरा सबसे बड़ा जानवर है ।भारतीय गैंडा असम राज्य के काज़ीरंगा नैशनल पार्क में पाए जाते हैं।
यहाँ लगभग २४०० से अधिक गैंडे हैं।
गैंडा शाकाहारी जानवर है । गैंडे की त्वचा मोटी होती है ।
अपनी त्वचा को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए वे उस पर कीचड़ मल लेते हैं।
गैंडे की सींग के लिए उसका शिकार किया जाता है ।
इस कारण गैंडे लुप्त हो रहे प्राणी हैं ।
इन्हें जिन्हें बचाना ज़रूरी है।
